  •  Fort Worth Botanic Gardens

Home of the oldest garden in Texas, you will find a beautiful shaded oasis of over 2,500 species of native and exotic plants and flowers that flourish on around 110 acres of land. With so much to see, this creates the most perfect— and colorful way to spend the afternoon!

Tip: Many people choose to reserve some space for special events, call ahead to be sure you will have full access to the property.

  • Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

Not only does this museum offer some incredible permanent exhibits, they also have some wonderful special exhibits—along with “hands on” activities that are just great for the kids! Be sure to check out the Omni Theater for an awesome visual experience before you leave!

  • Monnig Meteorite Gallery at TCU

Located right on the Texas Christian University campus, in the Sid Richardson Science building— the Monnig Meteorite Gallery offers one of the largest university based collections in the world! What an excellent opportunity to spend the day exploring the mysteries of meteorites!
