Money Personality

Your personality makes you unique. It makes you who you are — are you an introvert or an extrovert? Are you list-maker or do you just wing-it? Do you think through a process thoroughly before acting or do you jump in with both feet? The truth is — you are probably not one extreme or the other. You are a unique mix of traits that make you — well, you.

Webster’s Dictionary defines personality as the complex of characteristics that distinguishes an individual…the totality of an individual’s behavioral or emotional characteristics.

Knowing your personality can help explain who you are and why you do the things you do. For example, I love hanging-out with friends and family. I love letting my kids be involved in extracurricular activities (even when the calendar is full). And yes, I’m usually one of the first volunteers to be classroom mom, team mom, field trip expert, etc. Why? I know sometimes I think I’m insane — but it’s because I’m an extrovert. I love being around people. It’s part of who I am — it’s part of my personality.

But the question is: Can your personality describe or explain how you manage money or how you spend it?

Let’s start digging, here are a few interesting money personality articles and quizzes to help answer that question.
