Practical Mother’s Day Gifts (that she’ll actually like)

I can’t believe it, y’all. Mother’s Day is right around the corner already. With just two weeks until the big day, I’ll bet some of you are scrambling for this year’s big idea.

Another spa day? Shower gels and lotions? Perfumes and candles?  Flowers and candy?

When deciding on gifts for my own mother, I always ask myself: What would I want?

Here are a few practical items that were on my list:

  • Cute coffee mug(s) because you can never have too many. I’m a big coffee and tea drinker (plus the occasional mug of hot cocoa. I’d love for any of my kids to gift me with a cute coffee mug. Here’s one that’s on my wish list right now!
  • A kitchen journal. I’ve seen these on Pinterest and Instagram. It’s basically a pretty spiral bound notebook left in the kitchen for recipes and ingredient lists. I’d definitely write in it, plus it would add some detail to my kitchen/dining area.
  • Fresh flowers (speaking of adding detail to the house). It’s spring time and I’m all about revamping for spring décor. I like keeping fresh flowers in the house. It’s a way to brighten things up and always a sweet gesture.
  • Canvas images. I recently discovered Etsy has a Photo to Canvas shop where you can upload photos and turn them into canvas pictures to hang up in your home. They’ve had a few sales recently and they’re very affordable.

These are just a couple of things that I (and most others) would genuinely appreciate, I hope.

What are some of your Go-To Mother’s Day gifts?
